Jazzy Jeff is one of those DJs whose name first comes to mind when you think of hip-hop and fun at the same time. This legend of hip-hop culture was born 53 years ago in Philadelphia, where at the age of 10 she first encounters the magic of the gramophone. Because of his youth, at the beginning of his career he worked as "bathroom dj", entertaining the audience in local clubs, when resident djs went to a break in the toilet. This was not a problem for him, because he used every moment to work on his technique. She says to herself that it was precisely this work ethic in her youth that was crucial to become a pioneer of the "transformer" and "chirp" scratch techniques, which we first encountered in 1998 in Will Smith's Gettin` Jiggy Wit It mega hit. In his 10 year career, the duo releases five studio albums, and will remain remembered for being the first rap artists to win the Grammy Award (1989). After the breakup of the band (Jeff and Smith are still very good friends and working on joint projects), he dedicates himself to his production company "A Touch of Jazz", which helps in developing the careers of many quality music names including Eminem , Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Jewel, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Rhymefest and others. In addition to them, during his career he collaborated with De La Soul, Dj Cash Money, Method Man, CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane and Raheem Devaughn.

The event will be held on October 22 / Monday (23rd is a non-working day) at the MCC dancing hall starting at 9 pm (doors open at 20: 30h)

"Music, not mobile - turn off the phone, turn on the senses" is the new campaign of the Macedonian Philharmonic, which this institution begins with the first symphonic concert in the new season, which will be held on Thursday with the famous pianist Luka Debarg and maestro Jeruham Sharovski behind the conductor's desk.
The "Music, Not Mobile" campaign should increase awareness among visitors not to use phones during music events. The use of mobile phones has become an indispensable segment of the life of every individual and they are used everywhere, even in concerts of classical music. The idea of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra is that visitors to the concerts enjoy music instead of "seeing", "listening" and "experiencing" it through the screen of the phone.
Classical music is specific and requires strong commitment, immense sacrifice and continuous work. It can all disappear in just a moment if someone's phone ring, for example.
