70 years from birth of Goran Stefanovski

A mural with the image of Goran Stefanovski was painted on the facade of the primary school “Kole Nedelkovski” in Skopje Debar Maalo. The mural was painted to mark the 70th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Macedonian playwrights and writers. The mural was painted by artist and tattoo artist Blaze Atanaskov-Neimles
Goran Stefanovski, the bard of the Macedonian drama, died in November 2018 at the age of 66 after a short illness in Canterbury, England, where he lived. Academician Stefanovski is the author of the legendary and popular plays “Jane Zadrogaz”, “Wild Meat”, “Flight in Place”, “Hi-Fi”, “Double Bottom”, “Tattooed Souls”, “Black Hole”, “The Demon from Debar” Maalo “and the most famous TV series in the history of the Macedonian production” Bushava azbuka “, with which generations of children learned to read and write.
