On Wednesday, May 8, at 8 pm, the Macedonian Philharmonic will perform the symphony concert “New World”, featuring the top violinist from Latvia, Baiba Skrde, as a soloist.
The virtuosity, the musicality, the sincere approach to the works that she performs and the strong love she takes towards them will take the violin Baiba Hide on the scenes around the world to perform with one of the most important orchestras and conductors today. For the Macedonian audience, she will perform the Violin and Orchestra Concert No. 1 in a-mol, op. 77 by Dmitri Shostakovich, whom the Russian composer dedicated to the famous David Oystrakh.
