Exhibition “Montenegrin Film Poster”

The exhibition “Montenegrin Film Poster” is open in the lobby of the Cinematheque of Macedonia, which contains posters of films from Montenegrin cinematography, as well as co-production projects, realized mainly in the second half of the twentieth century, but also from the recent period. The exhibits are part of film director Momir Matovic’s only original collection, as a result of his long decades searching of movie archives, libraries, film producers ‘and distributors’ archives, some of which have been purchased by private collectors. It is a continuation of the cultural activities implemented by the Embassy of Montenegro in Macedonia, within the presentation of Montenegrin culture and identity.

The exhibition “Montenegrin Film Poster” is a kind of virtual museum of Montenegrin cinematography in which you can meet various film styles and themes, by various authors (among others: Zivko Nikolic, Zdravko Velimirovic, Veljko Bulaic, etc.), as well as many others. and ex-Yugoslav actors, but also former movie stars – both from the East (Sergei Bondarchuk) and from the West (Josephine Chaplin). The organizers of the exhibition, besides the Cinematheque and the Embassy of Montenegro, are the Research Center “Montenegro” from Skopje and the trustee of Matica Crnogorska in the Republic of  Macedonia, Miroljub Orlandic.
