Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi

March 15, 2019 (Friday) at 20:00 at MOB.

Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto” is a drama of human life that clearly, strongly and emotionally depicts the hidden negative features of people who suppress love, freedom, joy …
A tragic story of jealousy, revenge, and sacrifice. Written according to Victor Hugo’s drama “The King is Having Fun,” “Rigoletto” as an opera is narrated with an exciting musical language and its success back through history is not due solely to the libretto, the tragic fate of the title character, but even more so to the wonderful aria between which (La Donna è mobile), and the beautiful melodic structure.
