David Eldridge’s FESTEN drama is actually an adaptation of the film script with the same title, authored by Thomas Winterberg, Mogens Rukov and Bo. Hr. Hensen for the first DOGME film filmed in 1998. The drama text was written and produced at the Almeida Theater in London in 2004 and with great success was performed on many European and world theatrical scenes. In Macedonia, this contemporary, attractive material for work, even now experiences its premiere. Film receive the jury award at the Cannes Festival that year.
