There is a huge emphasis on casinos here, many of which are associated with hotels. There are summer clubs and winter clubs in Skopje. Winter nightclubs are located downtown, and their busy season stretches from October through May. In the summer, the parties in Skopje are moved to City Park, where most of the Summer nightclubs are situated and have their opening nights in June. Also the artificial city beach is located in the City Park. Skopje nightclubs don’t practice cover charge, but the reservation is necessary. All spots – by the bar, bar tables, high tables, VIP tables – are bound to be reserved. It is very important to get into the club no later than half past midnight, because otherwise the club has the right to give your reservation to someone.
