International Book Fair 2019

More than 60 publishers from Northern Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Denmark are part of the 31st edition of the International Book Fair, which will take place from 8 to 14 May in the VIP Arena Boris Trajkovski.

In cooperation with Skopje Fair, Hungary and Hungarian literature will be the focus of the 31st International Book Fair in Skopje. As a country in the focus, the Hungarian Embassy in Skopje will present Hungarian literary published in Macedonian language in a separate stand in recent years. This country can boast of is rich literary literature, with many award-winning authors and literary works that can be found on bookshelves around the world, and it’s exactly at the book fair that the audience will have the opportunity to meet personally with authors Edina Svoren and Laslo Bagoshi, as well as with Macedonian translators of Hungarian literature Paskal Gilevski and Zlatko Panzov.

During the fair, besides leading Hungarian books, an exhibition of illustrations from modern Hungarian children’s books will be exhibited.

The working hours of the fair are from 10:00 to 20:00.
