Old City House

Built in the 1836, this is the oldest city house in Macedonia that is still in great shape, a house that is a national treasure that testifies to the history of the Macedonian house and its authenticity, a house-museum protected from the first degree “Institute for the Protection of Monuments and Culture of the Republic of Macedonia “.
Built from wood and stone, with original carved ceilings, this house was home to 6 generations of the Jovanovic family, and today it is a wonderful national restaurant with a remarkable, warm and above all, traditional old-Macedonian ambiance.
While you are amazed by the beauty of the ambiance enriched with horticulture in the yard and the sounds of the fountain, your soul will be touched by the soft sounds of the national musical instruments, the flute and the bagpipe, accompanied by the violin, the guitar and the accordion. Our identity card and recognizable mark is primarily national food, extremely healthy food prepared in a traditional manner in a timber oven, as well as in the most modern kitchen equipped with HACCP system.
We prepare various cocktails and Swedish tables, also we are organizing celebrations and parties, as well as menus for groups.
