May Opera Evenings 2020

This year, the May Opera Evenings will be celebrated in a different way, with the hope that they will return to the stage and behind it as soon as possible. On the official YouTube channel of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, audience will have the opportunity to watch 10 MOB productions, 8 operas and 2 ballets, which will mark the May Opera Evenings, the festival that is most important for the National Opera and Ballet.
On May 9 it will be able to watch the digital premiere of the latest production of the opera “Carmen”, on May 12 the ballet performance “Raymonda”, May 15 “Turandot”, May 17 “Cavalleria Rusticana” and the opera concert on the occasion of 70 years from opera. On May 19 audince will have the opportunity to watch the ballet concert “Ballet Pearls” and on May 22 the opera “Faust”. On May 24, on the occasion of the holiday “St. Cyril and Methodius ” audience  will have the opportunity to watch the opera“ Lydia from Macedonia ”by Risto Avramovski. The opera “Adriana Lecouvreur” will be broadcast on May 26, and the opera “La Traviata” on May 29. Finally, traditionally, as we would end the May Opera Festival, we will broadcast the opera “Aida” on May 31.
